Your tasks:

 

- Planning and implementation of manufacturing processes for series production, especially in the area of machining and assembly.

- Optimization of existing production processes using lean methods to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

- Supervision of industrialization projects from the prototype phase to series production.

- Introduction and optimization of production systems (e.g. MES, ERP) to control and monitor production processes.

- Analysis and improvement of production processes, taking into account quality and efficiency criteria.

- Cooperation with the development department to check and improve the manufacturability of new products.

- Ensuring compliance with production standards, deadlines and costs.

- Supporting the introduction of new machines and systems and their continuous optimization.

- Collaboration in the layout planning and optimization of production facilities.

- Training and support of production employees** in the introduction of new processes and technologies.

- Defines and realizes specification for new processes, matrix of activities  and failure mode and effects analysis.

- Establish cost calculation for new products and cost-benefit analysis of investment project.

- Pre-validates/accepts equipment at the supplier's location, plans, tracks and ensures compliance with the agreed delivery term;
- Maintains contact with suppliers in his area of responsibility.
- Software trial out and integration on site. Digital Twin concept knowledges are a plus.
- Design and implement new clamping fixture, tooling for new project or improving the existent processes.
- Transforming the digitalization of the existing processes and experience with integration of Industry 4.0 concepts are a plus.

 

Your profile:

 

- Degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.

- Several years of professional experience in production technology, preferably in machining and assembly.

- Sound knowledge of production planning and optimization as well as in dealing with production systems (e.g. ERP, MES).

- Experience in the application of lean methods (e.g. Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, Six Sigma).

- Technical understanding and knowledge of modern machining technologies and assembly systems.

- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and a structured and results-oriented way of working.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills and a willingness to actively contribute to process improvement.

- Good written and spoken German and English skills.
