Technical sales and service engineer’s responsibilities include delivering product demonstrations, networking with clients, expanding sales territories, attending seminars and trade exhibitions, conducting research, increasing your knowledge of technical products, and providing training to staff. You should be able to deliver excellent customer support and make appropriate suggestions for improvement.
To be successful as a technical sales and service engineer, you should demonstrate great active listening skills, patience, and confidence. Outstanding candidates are self-starters with superb networking abilities, research skills, and a good eye for opportunities.
Location: Mumbai / Pune
Typical responsibilities of the job include
• identifying and establishing new business
• sales and service visits
• giving demonstrations, training, and presentations to help clients discover and
understand products/services.
• liaising with existing clients
• preparing tenders, proposals, and quotations
• negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions
• reviewing cost and sales performance
• writing reports and updating MIS
• supporting other members of the sales and service team to win business
• attending trade exhibitions, conference and meetings
• ensuring that sales targets are met
Technical Sales and service Engineer Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar.
· Sales and Service
· Willingness to travel across the region/territory
· Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities.
· Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
